What works, what to weigh

+

Strengths

3 reasons to book
  • In-room washer and kitchenette — Many rooms include a washing machine and a small kitchenette, making longer stays or hot-weather trips easier.
  • Helpful and friendly staff — Guests consistently note the polite and knowledgeable staff, who contribute to a smooth stay.
  • Convenient for transport — Located within a short walk of Shin-Nihombashi Station, with easy JR access to central Tokyo and Narita Airport via the Narita Express.

Worth weighing

3 to weigh
  • Small rooms by Western standards — As is typical for central Tokyo, rooms are compact; some guests found them cozy rather than spacious.
  • Comfort rating is lower than other categories — The comfort score of 7.5 suggests some guests found the beds or quietness less than perfect.
  • Limited on-site dining — Breakfast is mentioned but there's no full restaurant; guests rely on nearby convenience stores and their kitchenette for meals.

“The small efficiency apartment was very comfortable.”

“It really gives you a feeling of the true ryokan experience. From the outside, the hotel is nothing special, but the rooms are really cosy. On top of that, the personnel are very polite, helpful and knowledgeable of the city. The location was also ideal – close to transport to visit all attractions during daytime, and walking distance to the most lively part of the city at night.”

“The staff were friendly and helpful.”

“We liked the cleanliness, especially the availability of non-smoking rooms and the environment, good location, nice breakfast, internet access, very helpful staff. If you hold a JR Pass, just hop into the Nihombashi train station, 2 mins walk, during off-peak hours, which is one stop from Tokyo Central Station, from here you can catch the Narita Express to Narita Airport with your JR Pass. The hotel is about JPY800-1000 from the central station for those with a lot of luggage.”

8.7Verified guest

“Perfect. Rooms were well-maintained. Staff were courteous, 7 minute walk to Kanda station. Excellent value for money and could not have asked for more.”

“Convenient room, friendly staff, having a washing machine in the room was a major plus for keeping things fresh during the hot weather, and I appreciated the easy access to the JR Shin-Nihombashi Station for exploring nearby attractions.”
